ABOUT THE IU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – FIELDS COVERED

IU is inviting South African students to apply for scholarship funding, for the 2023 academic year.. The scholarship is applicable for online studies, towards Bachelors’s and Masters’s degrees in these fields:

All of the Bachelor’s Degree qualifications carry a weight of 180 ECTS credits (equal to 3 years of Bachelor Programme), while the Master’s Degree qualifications carry a weight of 60 ECTS credits for 1 year of study, and 120 ECTS credits for 2 years of study.

MORE ABOUT THE IU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – COVERAGE VALUE | SERVICE CONTRACT

IU scholarships will provide cover for up to 80% of tuition fees.

There is NO work-back contract or service obligation with this scholarship.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IU SCHOLARSHIP

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

  • You must be fluent in English
  • Bachelor degree applicants: you must have completed Matric and be in possession of an NSC Certificate
  • Master degree applicants: you must have completed an undergraduate degree
  • MBA degree applicants: you must have completed an undergraduate degree and have at least 1 year of working experience
  • You must intend on pursuing online studies, towards one of the above Bachelors’s or Masters’s degrees qualifications

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE IU SCHOLARSHIP

Applications must be submitted online at IU Scholarship Application 2022
You will be required to submit copies of the following supporting documentation along with your online application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):

  • ID document (certified copy)
  • Bachelor degree applicants: Matric certificate
  • Master degree applicants: Undergraduate degree qualification certificate
  • MBA degree applicants: Undergraduate degree qualification certificate
