Lephalale Municipality Bursary South Africa 2024 – 2025The Lephalale Local Municipality is situated within the Limpopo province of South Africa and is one of the fastest-growing towns in the province, owing to the presence of natural coal reserves and great industrial expansion projects initiated by mainly coal mining processing and electricity generation.

The Lephalale Local Municipality is inviting students residing within the Lephalale Local Municipality, to apply for the Mayoral Bursary Fund for the 2023 academic year..

Bursaries are available for undergraduate studies within these fields:

  • Financial studies
  • Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • Town and Regional Planning
  • Other scarce skills

  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised tertiary institution in South Africa
  • You must have a consistently strong academic record
  • Your parents or guardians must be unemployed or classified as indigent
  • Preference will be given to students who have passed Mathematics, Commerce, Physical Science and Technology as main subjects
