    SANSA Space Operations is a Directorate of South African National Space Agency situated at Pretoria. SANSA Space Operations, located at Hartebeeshoek, is the primary driver for SANSA’s state-of-the-art ground station facilities and services, including tracking, telemetry and communications activities, launch support, in-orbit testing, mission control and space navigation.     The intern(s) in this role will be exposed to rendering TT|C (Tracking, Telemetry and Command) support services and satellite monitoring services to a host of international space agencies and satellite operators.

    The successful candidates will: • Operate, maintain and /or monitor Radio Frequency (RF) and electronic equipment associated with satellite operations • Participate in TT|C operations which involves the rendering of ground segment services to SLV’s (Satellite launch vehicles) • Transfer-orbit operations, LEOP (launch and early-orbit operations)international clients • Keep abreast of the operational system and equipment functionality, status and redundant capabilities • Keep abreast of the operational system and equipment functionality, status and redundant capabilities.
