Nedbank has been training Chartered Accountants since 1997 when we became the first Approved Training Organisation. We understand the exposure and training needs of prospective Chartered Accountants.
From day one trainee can kick-start their successful career through exposure to different divisions within Nedbank. This provides them with the opportunity to demonstrate their talents to their potential employers. It is therefore not surprising that most trainees accept offers of permanent positions in their divisions of choice.

At Nedbank, trainees experience various training rotations e.g. in Nedbank Group, Nedbank Capital, Nedbank Corporate and Business Banking. In a nutshell, this provides interesting and challenging exposure and insights into specialised finance, group finance, treasury, corporate lending, risk management and global markets such as Nedbank London and Old Mutual.

The Nedbank CA Training Programme has a proven track record of high pass rates in the SAICA Qualifying Examinations. We encourage and promote learning through sponsoring SAICA qualifying examinations and board courses in preparation thereof, providing generous study and annual leave, assisting trainees in the planning of their rotations, with the focus on obtaining their SAICA core competencies, and drawing on the expertise of Nedbank specialists and other training providers when required.

Our 25 to 30 trainees are supported all the way. They work alongside highly respected and experienced Nedbank staff members, who are passionate about providing quality training through the development of talent. Rotations are relevant and challenging, allowing a trainee to apply theoretical knowledge whilst honing their professional skills.
