Eligibility Criteria for the Ingrain Bursary 2026

To apply for the Ingrain Bursary, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen (18–34 years old).

  • Must be studying towards a BEng degree at a recognized public university in South Africa.

  • Must be in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of study in 2026.

  • Must demonstrate financial need (proof of household income required).

  • Must not be funded by another bursary scheme.

  • Students living with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
