TUT Online Application Closing Dates 2026 – 2027

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) provides an online application system for students applying to study in the upcoming academic year. While the portal opens early in the year, it’s essential to know the official closing dates so your application is considered for admission.

TUT Online Application Closing Dates

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the official closing date for TUT online applications is 30 June 2026. This is the final date by which all applications must be submitted for full consideration. Applications received after this date may only be considered on a late application basis, subject to space availability.

What You Need to Submit Before the Closing Date

Before the deadline, applicants must ensure they have:

  • Completed the online application form through the TUT portal

  • Uploaded all required supporting documents:

    • Certified copy of your ID/passport

    • Grade 11 or Grade 12 academic results (as applicable)

    • Any programme‑specific documents or portfolios

  • Paid the application fee (if applicable)

Incomplete applications or submissions after the closing date may not be processed.

Late Applications After the Closing Date

TUT sometimes allows late applications after 30 June 2026, but these will only be reviewed if:

  • There are spaces still available in the chosen programme

  • The faculty has given approval

  • All required documents are submitted and fees paid

Late applications are not guaranteed and should be submitted as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Tips for Meeting the Deadline

  • Start your application early to avoid last‑minute issues

  • Prepare certified copies of all documents in advance

  • Double‑check your chosen programme’s requirements

  • Save your application reference number for future follow‑up
