ABOUT THE COMPANY – FNB

FNB (First National Bank), founded in 1838, is the oldest bank in South Africa. A division of a large financial services conglomerate, First Rand Limited, FNB is one of the countries “big four” banks. The financial institution provides services for private, personal commercial and corporate banking to millions of customers across the country.

ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME

The FNB Fund Bursary, administered by the StudyTrust, are awarding partial bursaries to those studying (or planning to study) towards a Commerce, Engineering or Science degree qualification.

The partial bursary will provide coverage for approximately 50% of the total study fees per annum – students will be required to cover the remainder of their fees via another method (student loan/ NSFAS etc).

Bursaries will be awarded to students studying in the Commerce/ Engineering/ Science field of study and majoring in one of the below:

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Achievement: Maintain strong academic performance, with a minimum average of 65% in your most recent studies.
Financial Need: Demonstrate financial constraints that would otherwise make it difficult to pursue tertiary education.
Enrollment: Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a recognized South African tertiary institution.
Field of Study: Be pursuing a degree relevant to FNB’s focus areas.
